Your love for your husband comes shining through on your blog which is so encouraging.

What do you do to keep that love fresh?

anonymous- thank you! it makes me happy that i am able to encourage someone, especially since theMr and i had a very rough beginning and started out with the odds stacked against us. you've given me a great idea for a post but i'll answer you question quickly. (i'll def try to do a longer post on this later this week!) i think the biggest thing we do is to put our marriage before everything else, including our children. this is contrary to what alot of people believe but it's vital. our kids have gone to bed early from infanthood because that is OUR time together. we guard it closely. we also have a "no kids in our bedroom" rule. more about that later, thanks for asking!

GC- i'm so glad you're back :) my biggest fear is fire, it's a phobia really. i'm terrified of a house fire. i have nightmares about trying to get all my kids out. it's even worse now that our master bedroom is on the main floor and the kids are upstairs. i'm trying to overcome it but i'm super anal about smoke detectors and whatnot. theMr just rolls his eyes at me :)

as far as cooking, i cook just about every night. before you reprimand yourself let me clarify a few points: our budget is so tight i can't afford to buy dinner very often. also, there are lots of nights that the kids dinner is mac and cheese and hot dogs so it's not like i'm martha stewart or anything. i try to throw in fruit and a veggie to soothe my conscience. ironically, i cook a "real" dinner most nights for theMr and i when he gets home at 9 because we're foodies and we love to eat good food !!

I have a question: What is this "sitemeter"? I'm always curious if people even read my blogs. I'd love to know!

michelle- go to sitemeter.com. you can put it on your blog and it tracks everyone who visits. it tells location, ip number, time visited, etc. kinda interesting! i did it for the same reason, was wondering if anyone was out there! was kinda surprised how many!

Okay, I went to sitemeter and put it on my page. Holy cow! I had no idea so many people were reading my blog. I put it on around noon today and I've had 62 hits since then. Now, I'm nervous about what I write!!
